Until some time ago, before the last eruption, it was possible to climb to the top of the island of Stromboli! Being at sunset so close to the mouth of the volcano and feeling all that energy under your feet inspired a deep sense of respect for the place you were and for the spectacle you were admiring! All that remained was to curl up as close as possible to the camera and live, with admiration, the silence that existed between one eruption and another!
The photographs you can find on this site were taken by me during my travels and my wanderings. All prints are part of a limited series, my signature and serial number are applied to each one and can be purchased in two different sizes 8x10 and 16x20 inch (passepartout included).
