The Cave Labyrinth at Cala Rossa, on the island of Favignana, is an open testimony of the island's mining history. Huge corridors from the high walls, even thirty meters away, are just a few steps away from the coast. What was the fruit of the human hand becomes at times more and more inaccessible to him. A dense vegetation runs a slow and steady job to regain the spaces, creating a huge number of places where, in the midst of the sunny midday sun, you just want to be lost for a while.
The photographs you can find on this site were taken by me during my travels and my wanderings. All prints are part of a limited series, my signature and serial number are applied to each one and can be purchased in two different sizes 8x10 and 16x20 inch (passepartout included).
